There have been several major storms over the past few months and it makes me wonder if this is a part of global warming or is it a normal cycle for Earth. We all know that the Earth goes through cycles along with the sun and moon which effect weather patterns here on Earth. Could it be possible that we are all panicking over nothing? The sun has been put out a lot of solar flares and there have been sightings of larger then normal sun spots lately.... the sun is the biggest contributor to the weather patterns here on Earth. More so then even the moon. I am not saying we should not worry about Global Warming or anything.... I just think we should not panic and assume all these increases in storms mean the end of the world or anything.

I do believe we are in a transitional climate phase at the moment, resulting in a slight increase in both the frequency and severity of both summer and winter storms.
There are a lot of theories about the whys and wherefores, but I figure this is worthy of a thread of its own.
Just my opinion.
